IoStar for its VSAT Service uses the NSS-6, NSS703, Telstar18 Satellite Ku & C Band Frequencies which beams over Central Asia and the India Subcontinent covering Afghanistan , Bangladesh , Pakistan , Sri Lanka and Nepal .

IoStar makes use of the ViaSat LinkStar Technology, which has a 1.2 Mbps In-bound Speed and a DVB Outbound capable of going up to 58 Mbps per terminal. It can be used for deploying Internet Access, ATM/POS Networks, Corporate CUGs and Multicasting applications. IoStar also uses iDirect Tenchnology, which has a wide range of data transfer rates from 256kbps to 45mbps with direct access to the European Internet Backbones of several Tier One providers, peered at the London teleport which delivers single hop, low latency connectivity.
